Make no plans for Saturday June 24th! This is the day of the Double Birthday Canal Picnic. Margunn, Idun and Maria hereby solemnly invite you to come enjoy the sunshine with us by the enchanting Regent's Canal in Islington.
Please bring the following along:
* yourself
* something to sit on
* something to drink
* and something to eat
Perhaps optimistically, we hope you would like to show up at 4 pm. If you prefer showing up late, call us and we will direct you to our special spot by the canal.
Directions: At Angel (tube) Station, head right (along Upper Street) until The York (a pub, 50 m). Turn right till the end of the street (50 m), and go through the black gates. Walk along the canal about 150 m, past the first bridge. We'll be at the first lock.
